font-size variable in SASS

    I tried to change the $font-size-base and $font-size-normal variables in _variables.scss and recompile the CSS with Koala but the change doesn’t seem to be applied.

    After a quick search it appears that these variables are not used in _*.scss files. All font-size are hard-coded such as font-size: 14px;

    Thus, what is the best pratice to change, globally,  the font size of Metronic components and plugins?

    Thanks for your help

    Kind Regards

    Hi :),

    Those variables only applied to global body font size.  Actual components and plugins are optimized with hardcoded font size. For most components used 14px font size. To change it globally you will need to manually change the entire components.css. But please note that font size change can impact in components paddings and margins so i would suggest you to stick with default font size. In case if you really need to change it you will need to override it in custom.css for your selected elements.

    If you need any further clarifications please let us know.
