    Hello team,

I am using Admin2 template only. But I can see that asset folder size is 180 MB. In which plugins folder size is 150 MB.

Now can you tellme what plugins are useful for Admin2 templates so that i can remove the remaining plugins so that asset size is small

    Hi :),

Sure, you can follow below steps to cleanup unused plugins:

    1) We assume you selected Admin 1(admin_2) sub theme from available 7 sub themes.

    2) There are 2 main parts of the theme. First is the assets folder that contains all the css, js and 3rd party plugins and the templates folder where actually HTML templates are placed. So refer to “theme/assets” and “theme/admin_2” folders to get started.

    3) In “theme/assets” folder you can see separate folder for layouts(admin 1, admin 2, …. admin 7) and you can keep the assets of the layout you are using(theme/assets/layouts/layout) and also the global assets(theme/layouts/global) and the rest layout assets you can remove since your selected layout does not use them. So under “theme/assets/layouts” folder you will have “theme/assets/layouts/layout2” and “theme/assets/layouts/global” folder only.

    4) From “theme/admin_2” refer to the started layout_blank_page.html template. This template includes the minimal required css, js and 3rd party plugins. You can use this template as starting point to your application pages.

    5) Try to separate the HTML code of layout_blank_page.html into modular partials(header, sidebar, footer, main content) and keep the partials centralized for each page.

    6) Under 3rd party plugins folder(theme/assets/global/plugins) you can exclude unused plugins if you need. By default metronic includes over 80 3rd party plugins and most of theme you may not use so you can exclude the ones you will not use.

    7) Also you can check the theme documentation in “_documentation/index.html”

If you need any further clarifications please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I am using form validation in my project, where i can see that name, email, number, digits are already validated like this check here http://prntscr.com/bmyjhp

but i want to use my custom fields also rather than this fields, I found form-validation.js file in scripts,

So in above image , i have created 2 fields Movie title and censor rating, now if i want to validate these fields then i have to write rules in form-validation.js or is there any other method.

    Hi dollar1990,

If you want to add custom validation rules then you will need to follow the plugin documentation and extend the plugin with your own validation rules: https://jqueryvalidation.org/documentation/. For more info please check: https://jqueryvalidation.org/jQuery.validator.addMethod. You can add your custom validation code right after including the plugin or before you setup the validation rules. Just make sure that the validation rule is initialized before you call it anywhere.

    Thanks.

    Hi kanaganeshnk,

Please go to assets/pages/scripts/table-datatables-editable.js script and edit the related function to support required number of imports. To execute your change please load table-datatables-editable.js instead of table-datatables-editable.min.js in your html template.

    THanks.

    Hi,

Are you including angularjs.min.js in the default HTML version ? Please note that angularjs requires special integration so we have a separate version for angularjs and you can check it here:
http://keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/theme/admin_1_angularjs. Also you can see the data and date time pickers working smooth with angularjs: http://keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/theme/admin_1_angularjs/#/pickers

If you need any further clarifications please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Could you please let us know if you are using the angularjs version of the theme:
    http://keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/theme/admin_1_angularjs

rather than including angularjs.min.js in the default HTML version. If possible could you please provide a test link to your developing site in a private reply ?

    Thanks.
