IE8 Footer issue after Metronic version 4.6 (Admin3)

After the upgrade to version 4.6 of Metronic Theme, the Admin3 layouts are rendering the footer far below the bottom of the page. You need to scroll down in order to see the Footer.
You can see the problem if you go to page http://keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/theme/admin_3/layout_blank_page.html using the Windows XP (SP3) IE8.
Is it possible to solve this issue somehow?

We tried to reproduce the issue with on IE11 by turning on the IE8 simulator mode and it looked OK without any issue.
If possible can you please provide us some screenshots where we can see the issue clearly ?

Could you please clear the browser cache and retry it ? We are not able to test it on IE8/XP SP3.
We tried to reproduce the issue with IE8 simulator of IE11 and it seems working fine.

I cleaned all browser data and it didn’t solve the problem.
It would be great if your team have a VM with a real IE8 browser, bacause the emulator sometimes can show a false positive result.
For example: If you go to page “http://keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/theme/admin_3/page_user_login_3.html” and click on “Login” button (leave the inputs empty), the Form validator won’t work on IE11 Emulated for IE8.
But, if you use the IE8 on WinXP, the same page works fine, and the validator present the expedted results. This also happens for the “Forget Password” and “Create an Account” Input Forms on Login page.
Looking forward your comments.

Yes, we tested on real IE8 machines before but sometimes the same code worked differently on different XP service pack versions. Seems making 100% full height layout with CSS does not work on your XP SP version.
So tracking IE8 issues are very hard and expensive :). However we did our best to make Metronic IE8 compatible as much as possible. So starting Metronic v5.0 we are officially planning to drop IE8 and IE9 support.
As a workaround you can try to set negative margin bottom to the footer container to adjust the footer in 100% height layout.
If you will be able to adjust it for IE8 then you can put that code in custom.min.css as IE8 hack.
