    Hi, the jquery file upload is missing error text.

    If I want to get an error, for exmple load an unsupported file type, in the jquery file upload site, I have the error message, while in the metronic demo site (http://www.keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/theme/templates/admin/form_fileupload.html) there is no error message

    Hi :),

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Due to some secuirty issues we have removed server side demos of the plugin so at the moment only html, js and css files of the plugin are included. To get this plugin fully functional you should download the full version of the plugin from https://blueimp.github.io/jQuery-File-Upload/

    The reason we excluded the server side demo scripts was secruity issues with the provided demo scripts so we left it to buyer’s considiretion as we don’t want to take any responsibility for server side secrutity issues.  For more info on the server side part you can refer to the official wiki:

    https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/wiki

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the replay but maybe I was not clear.

    On the jquery file upload plugin site, if I try to load an unsupported file type (like for example a pdf), I get the error “File type not allowed” and that is a javascript function that occurs before sending the file to the server.

    In the form_fileupload.html I have no error message. Only a red box. That should be some kind of javascript code before sending the file to the server. Looking at the plugin I found the jquery.fileupload-validate.js (wich is called in the form_fileupload.html) has this config

    ….

    // Error and info messages:
    messages: {
    maxNumberOfFiles: ‘Maximum number of files exceeded’,
    acceptFileTypes: ‘File type not allowed’,
    maxFileSize: ‘File is too large’,
    minFileSize: ‘File is too small’
    }

    but seems that is never called

    Hi,

    We used plugin as it is without any modification. I would suggest you to check the plugin’s demo’s js file and refer to their allowed file type settings:

    http://blueimp.github.io/jQuery-File-Upload/js/main.js

    If you need any further assistance please provide us a test URL to your developing site in a private reply.

    Thanks.
