Opening a mega-menu to the left instead of right

    On smaller screens with a mega menu closer to the end of the navigation, the menu opens to the right which causes it to get cut off.

    The comments on ThemeForest have suggested to add “dropdown-right” and “pull-right” but I can get neither of these to work.

    Is there a way to force a mega menu to open to the left?

    Thanks.

    Hi :),

    Could you please provide a few more details ? Which theme are you referring ? Can you paste here the URL to the sample in the preview site ?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    I’m referring to the HTML Admin theme. I don’t have a preview site available, but it can be reproduced by just taking the index_horizontal_menu.html page and moving the Mega Menu to be the last list element. Resize the browser to a smaller width and you’ll see that the third column is completely cut off. Attached is an example file and screenshot. If the mega-menu would open to the left, then the entire 3 column menu could be shown.

    Thanks

    Sorry, looks like the HTML file upload was blocked. Here is a pastebin of the HTML.

    Hi,

    You can try to adjust it by modifying the dropdown-menu as shown below:

    <ul class=”dropdown-menu ” style=”min-width: 700px;right: auto;left: 0;”>

    </ul>

    Or try below code:

    <ul class=”dropdown-menu ” style=”min-width: 700px;right: auto;”>

    </ul>

    Please try above 2 methods and let us know the result.

    Thanks.

    Hi Sean,

    Sorry for the delay. I tried both methods, the first one works great, the second doesn’t seem to do anything.

    The first will work for what I need. Thanks for your help!
